I have joined with the Mennonite Central Committee, which seeks to provide aid and relief to those on the outskirts of the global village.
It is my privilege to join with the Seed team for two years in Central Africa to learn how to serve others in a cross-cultural setting, how to build peace in an area that has seen precious little of it, and how to live what I believe (Joshua 1: 9) - all day, every day.
I will be volunteering in a community for 2 years, and plan to update my progress and experiences on this blog as often as I can. I'm not sure about my specific placement or tasks yet, but am confident of God's provision in strength and resources.
